How to get to Grand Hyatt Taipei ?

From Taoyuan International Airport (TPE, Taipei)

1.🚇Metro

  • Step 1: From Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1 or 2 ( A 12 or A 13 ) to Taipei Main Station ( A 1 ) by Taoyuan Metro.
    • Travel time about 39 min (Express)/ 52 min (Commuter).
  • Step 2: Take the Red Line for Xiangshan to MRT Taipei 101 Station ( R 03 ) by Taipei Metro.
    • Take the Exit 5.

2.🚕 Taxi

  • Taxis operating by shifts are located at the west side of the Terminal 1's and Terminal 2's Arrivals Lobby at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.

3.🚌Bus: KUO-KUANG motor transportation (No.1819)

  • Step 1: From Taoyuan Airport Terminal to Taipei Station.
    • First Bus: 05:20/ Last Bus:23:50
  • Step 2: Take the Red Line for Xiangshan to MRT Taipei 101 Station (R03) by Taipei Metro.
    • Take the Exit 5.

From Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA, TPE)

    Metro

    • From SongShan Airport Station ( BR 13 ) to MRT Taipei 101 Station ( R 03 ).
    • Take the Brown Line for Taipei Zoo and transfer at Daan Station ( BR 09 / R 05 ), then take the Red Line for Xiangshan and get off at the Taipei 101 station ( R 03 ).
    • Take the Exit 5.

    2. 🚕Taxi

    • Approximately 18 minutes by taxi.
    • Fare: about NT$250

    🚇 Taipei Metro (MRT)

    The Taipei Metro is fast, clean, and efficient. Operating hours are approximately 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

    • Metro Etiquette: Do not eat, drink, smoke or chew gum on the Metro or in stations.

    🚕 Taxi

    Taxis in Taipei are clean, safe, and widely available. While many drivers use translation apps or speak basic English, we recommend asking hotel staff to write down your destination in Mandarin along with the estimated fare, so you can easily show it to the driver. It’s also a good idea to keep a note of your hotel’s name and address in Mandarin.

    • Starting fare: NT$85 for the first 1.25 km in Taipei, then additional charges (NT$5) per 200 meters. (The starting and meter rates vary depending on each city, according to local laws.)
    • Payment options: cash.
    • Ride-hailing apps like Uber, LINE TAXI, and Taiwan Taxi are widely used.

    🚌 Bus

    Taipei has an extensive bus network and seamless MRT transfers.

    • Tap your card when boarding and when exiting.
    • Accepts IC cards or exact cash (no change given).
